Date: October 2018, 1st year at BUas
Client: Breda University of Applied science
Reason: City expansion of Breda, The Netherlands
Project status: na
The Waterfrontier of Breda is a design for the area of Havenkwartier in Breda, this was my first project at Breda University of Applied Sciences This design is mainly focused on reforming the area to a different type of use, from being an industrial site to a mixed-use neighbourhood close to the city centre. The design aims at giving houses to people of different ages, and different incomes. The diversity of proposed buildings reflects the current creative use of the space, this plan hopefully does not reduce but supports the creative atmosphere in the area. The different housing typologies range from attached row houses to villas and tiny houses.
